What we can help with

Useful work. Honest boundaries.

A good fit

  • Strollers, wagons and other checked family gear
  • Damage on Canadian-airline travel to, from or within Canada
  • Checked or gate-checked items with an airline record
  • Customers able to remain the named claimant and approve the submission

What we can’t take on

  • Lost or delayed baggage claims during the launch pilot
  • Guaranteed reimbursement or a guaranteed outcome
  • Legal advice, settlement advice, court representation or CTA advocacy
  • Submission without the named claimant’s written authorization

You remain the claimant and make all settlement decisions. Denials, legal advice, Canadian Transportation Agency complaints and court matters are referred to appropriately licensed legal help.

Your claim process

You remain the claimant. We help with the administrative work.

  1. 1Report the damage immediately

Tell the airline at the airport whenever possible, keep its damage report and receipts, and send us the item-focused records you have.

  2. 2Approve the fixed-fee support plan

We confirm what evidence is missing, what we can handle and the fixed fee before work begins.

  3. 3Approve and move the claim

You approve the factual package. With written authorization, we can submit it through the airline’s process and handle routine status follow-up.

Frequently asked

Clarity before you start.

How quickly do I need to report airline damage?

Report it to the airline before leaving the airport whenever possible. For checked baggage damage, written notice is generally required within seven days, but your airline’s tariff and the law governing the itinerary control. Contact us right away rather than waiting for the deadline.

Can Nest & Stow submit the claim for me?

With your written authorization, we can submit the factual claim package through the airline’s process, follow up on status and organize requests for more documents. You approve the claim and remain the claimant.

What happens if the airline denies the claim?

We can organize the file and explain the administrative next step, but legal advice, settlement strategy, CTA complaints and court matters go to appropriately licensed legal help.

Do you charge a percentage of the recovery?

No. You approve one fixed fee before we begin. If you later need licensed help, that provider quotes it separately.
